Karolina Krejci

Soprano

Karolina Krejčí is a young Czech soprano specializing in opera and concert repertoire. She began her vocal training at the Charlotta Masaryková School of Music, where she completed the second cycle with a graduation concert. She is currently in her fourth year of studies at the Prague Conservatory.

Her artistic development has been further enriched through participation in esteemed programs such as the Summer School of Early Music in Valtice and the Academy in Kroměříž, both completed in 2024.

Since 2023, Karolina has been working as an assistant director at the National Theatre Opera in Prague, gaining valuable insight into professional opera production. Alongside her stage work, she maintains an active concert career, collaborating with renowned organists including Jan Kalfus, David Coufal, Martin Bureš, and Ondřej Valenta, as well as with composers Matěj Bartoň and Jakub Potoček.

Karolina’s musical expressiveness extends to both operatic roles and dramatic stage work. In 2023, she appeared as Femina Jones in Journey Around the World by Jiří Janků, directed by Magdalena Švecová.

Her operatic repertoire includes Rusalka, the First Washerwoman, and the Kitchen Boy in Antonín Dvořák’s Rusalka, Vendulka in Bedřich Smetana’s Hubička, and both the First Lady and Papagena in Mozart’s The Magic Flute.
